Dividend ÷ Divisor = Quotient remainder R | Dividend = Quotient × Divisor + Remainder
- Dividend: the number being divided
- Divisor: the number you divide by
- Quotient: the result (whole number part)
- Remainder: what is left over (0 ≤ R < Divisor)
